Chatref is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables businesses to build, deploy, and manage AI-powered chatbots trained on their own data. All services are delivered digitally — there are no physical goods, shipments, or deliveries involved.
2. How the Service Is Delivered
2.1 Account Activation
- Upon successful sign-up at app.chatref.ai, your account is activated instantly.
- Free plan users receive immediate access with 100 messages per month.
- Paid plan subscribers gain access to enhanced features within seconds of successful payment confirmation via Razorpay.
2.2 Platform Access
The Chatref platform is accessible through:
- Web Dashboard — app.chatref.ai (accessible from any modern web browser)
- Embeddable Chat Widget — A code snippet you can embed on your website to deploy your AI chatbot to your visitors
- API Access — RESTful APIs for programmatic integration (available on applicable plans)
2.3 No Downloads Required
Chatref is entirely web-based. There are no software downloads, installations, or physical media. All processing, storage, and delivery happen on our secure cloud infrastructure.

- Scheduled maintenance windows, if any, are communicated in advance via email and the platform dashboard.
5. Data Hosting & Storage
- All user data, chatbot configurations, and knowledge bases are stored securely on cloud servers.
- Data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard encryption protocols.
- We comply with GDPR and applicable data protection regulations.

6. Subscription Renewals
- Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annual).
- Renewal payments are processed automatically via Razorpay.
- Service access continues uninterrupted upon successful renewal.
- If a renewal payment fails, a grace period is provided to update your payment method before access is restricted.
7. No Physical Shipping
Since Chatref is a fully digital service:
- No physical goods are shipped or delivered.
- No shipping charges apply.
- No delivery address is required for service activation.
- All invoices and receipts are delivered electronically to your registered email address.
