How do I purchase a gift card?

1. Go to our gift cards page (the link lives in the site footer).
2. Choose a design and an amount – or enter a custom value.
3. Enter the recipient’s name and email so they receive it directly, or keep it for yourself.
4. Add to cart and check out like any other item.

If you get stuck at any step, the AI agent in the website widget can walk you through it right there – no need to click away.

You can check any bookstore gift card balance:

• Use the balance checker form on our account page.
• Ask the AI agent at the bottom right of the screen. Just type “check gift card balance” and it will retrieve the amount via a custom action, so you see the answer in seconds.

Both ways pull live data, so the number you see is always current.

Bookshop organization (org) gift cards
Schools, libraries, and other organizations can buy bookstore gift cards in bulk by emailing orgorders@ourbookstore.com. Tell us how many cards you need and the total amount, and we’ll send a purchase order. Bulk cards are eligible for volume discounts starting at 10 cards, and balances can be managed by your team through our AI agent’s custom action for org admins.
